Generic Adderall is a stimulant and appetite suppressant. It stimulates the central nervous system (nerves and brain) by increasing the amount of certain chemicals in the body.
Generic Adderall is used to treat narcolepsy and attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity (ADHD).
Each tablet of Adderall contains:
- Dextroamphetamine Saccharate 7.5 mg
- Amphetamine Aspartate Monohydrate 7.5 mg

- Amphetamine Sulfate USP 7.5 mg
What is the Adderall?
Adderall is a prescription drug that is a combination of amphetamine and dextroamphetamine. Both stimulate the nervous system by affecting chemicals in the brain and nerves. Ultimately affect a person’s impulse control and hyperactivity. Adderall is used to treat the symptoms of ADHD, Narcolepsy, and a physician may prescribe Adderall for additional uses.
Adderall vs Adderall XR
Adderall XR is the extended-release version of Adderall, which means the pill dissolves slowly and the active ingredients are released in the body throughout the day. Adderall XR is taken only once a day, while Adderall may need to be taken multiple times a day.
Take Adderall exactly as prescribed by your doctor. How much and how often depends on the patient’s symptoms, size, weight, and illness.
This medicine may cause dependence. Do not share this medication, do not take it without a prescription. People who have been addicted should not take this medicine.
It is used for adults and children. Your doctor will prescribe the initial dose. Adults usually increase in increments of 10 mg until reaching a stable dose. A child is usually increased in increments of 5 mg until they reach a stable dose.

If you have any of these symptoms while taking Adderall you may have an allergic reaction:
